Artist: o1o
Release: Futurespective
Label: Further Records
Out: Now
For more than a decade now, Armon Bazile has carefully crafted his individuality within sound. Through various releases under different monikers, the Oakland musician has reminded us of the beautiful relationship between house, techno and hip hop. Keeping a soulful attitude among the rugged percussion and thumping basslines creates quite an interesting feel to the music, regardless of the intended genre. But it's more than just techno, electronic music or whatever label you need to apply. Armon has established a feeling so deep, its connections to the listener are immediately felt.
With that same mentality, Armon comes to Further Records under his o1o name. Futurespective features seven original tracks that waste no time introducing themselves. Each song tends to offer a different perspective to a melodic emotion, bonding everything together nicely. The full release rolls along at a slow and soothing pace, and listeners will enjoy the storyline of audio presented here. The blend between past sounds and modern tactics provides a unique experience, as well.
