[2Circles012] Dojo - Idlematch EP

Andrew Juarez, under his moniker Dojo, brings us his debut album Idle Match. A Los Angeles native,w who now calls the mighty Pacific Northwest his home, combines his own brand of dub-inspired rhythms and lush ambient soundscapes. Dojo's Idle Match is a step into the mind of the artist himself. The release is highlighted by the floor ready "Extrapolated", and followed up by Dojo's foray into the more experimental side of himself, from which he relates his ability to capture a moment in sound with "Posit" and "Ultra Waltz". The release is rounded out by the soul-infused "Tall City", including a powerfully dark remix from Blipswitch artist Selande, as well as a tribal reinterpretation by simple. With art created specifically for the album by Daniel Lofredo, the release is as one from start to finish.
