With so many happenings in and around the city, you have to ask yourself if you're going to the best of the best. This Saturday, Atlanta Dubstep presents, for the very first time in Atlanta, 2562. The Netherlands producer has been the center of discussion of dubstep, techno, house, minimal, dnb and many many more circles for the past couple years, with his brilliantly laced productions. So again...you have to ask yourself: Do you want to just go out and listen to the same old jukebox-style music...or do you want an experience?

Forget everything you know about Dubstep. Forget everything you know about Techno. Netherlands-based producer and DJ 2562 has aided in the reshaping of two ever-so-popular edm genres, and the buzz around his mixes and productions are growing rapidly day in and day out. Dave Huismans not only has one of the most obscure guises, he also has one of the most obscure sounds in such a uniform way. He's played with the likes of Appleblim, Shackleton, Modeselektor, Kode 9, Digital Mystikz, Skream, Loefah and more. His tracks have received accrediting from djs such as Martyn, Mary Anne Hobbs and more. 2008 saw Dave's album release under 2562, Aerial, under rave reviews from popular sites such as resident advisor and sounds of the universe, among others. You can also find other gem releases from Huismans under previous monikers A Made Up Sound and Dogdaze
