Mystery Land is an annual all-day dance festival featuring a variety of electronic music with multiple venues held in the Netherlands. Its famous official opener is dubbed as "Yesterday is history. Today is a gift. Tomorrow is mystery." The 2007 edition was held on August 25 and visited by 60000 people and sold out.
The location of the event was originally planned to take place at the Island of Maurik in Lelystad in 1994, change its location because of opposition from the Lelystad city council to accommodate a crowd of 15,000 people, later moved to Rotterdam, Six Flags Holland, and currently held at the canal-lined scenic Floriade Park in Haarlemmermeer, with a huge earthen-pyramid overlooking the Q-Dance stage.
